ScanVault Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 21, 2026

ScanVault (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is published by AppHub Tech Inc. It is a QR code scanner that keeps a private history of the codes you scan. This policy explains what the app accesses and how your information is handled.

The short version

We do not collect, store, see, sell, or share any of your personal data. ScanVault has no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no tracking. Everything you scan stays on your device and — if you enable it — syncs only through your own private iCloud, which we cannot access.

What the app accesses, and why

iCloud sync

If you are signed in to iCloud, your scan history syncs across your devices using Apple’s CloudKit, in your private iCloud database. This data is stored in your personal iCloud account, encrypted and controlled by you; we have no access to it. Apple’s handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Data we collect

None. ScanVault contains no analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or tracking SDKs, and we operate no servers that receive your data.

Data retention and deletion

Your data lives on your device and in your own iCloud, fully under your control:

Children’s privacy

ScanVault does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the date above and post the new version at this URL.
